Beginning My 2 Year Reflections

Sometimes I forget I’m deaf, sometimes I cherish that I’m deaf.

I will always be grateful to Advanced Bionics and two successful surgeries at Vanderbilt’s Bill Wilkerson Center that have rendered the times when I’m “deaf” optional.

Today marks the two year anniversary of my evaluation for cochlear implant candidacy…feeling a bit sentimental, but eternally grateful!
